Since 1989 Sarieng’s Premium Sausages had its humble beginnings in the kitchen of Sarieng Kloth after only being told of the ingredients to use for the sausages. With a knack for cooking, Sarieng quickly figured out the perfect combination of using traditional ingredients and a few ingredients of her own, while still maintaining the authentic and savory taste of what is known as Cambodian Sausages or “Tva-Koe”.
Initially, the Sausages were sold to family, friends and neighbors. It proved to be so popular that people from all over San Jose, CA somehow were able to get a hold of her phone number to place orders. Orders then came from all over the Bay Area, and from states such as Colorado, New York, Washington, Illinois, and Pennsylvania; places that also sell Cambodian Sausages.As a home based business, Sarieng’s Premium Sausages could never meet its demand as the operation is controlled by two people, Sarieng and her husband. Costumers would recognize this and place orders one week in advance to make sure they get the fresh sausages to enjoy.
